Born and raised in Hayward California, Punto Cinco has always had a passion for music. During his early school years he played instruments and was also in the chorus. In his freshmen year of high school he started free styling a skill that would eventually lead him to his future passion. In 2010 his brother was murdered forever changing Punto Cinco and motivating him to take a different direction in life. He almost immediately started working on his first album which he released 1/17/2012 under the artist name “Cell”. A few months later due to the overuse of that artist name he changed his name to Point 5. Towards the end of 2012 he signed to Dynasty Reign Ent. Over the years he has consistently dropped music but towards the end of 2019 he had to change his name again to “Punto Cinco” due to a trademark issue. One thing is for sure, he’s not stopping anytime soon!
