GBM1011 is a rapper from the west-end of downtown Toronto, an area situated upon the sacred indigenous lands of Tkaronto. Born and raised in "Nest Side", which comprises both the Bloordale and Bloorcourt communities, GBM1011 is the creator of "Astral" rap: a sub-genre of rap which is inspired by the spiritual experiences that powerful entities have with human consciousness and the source of all creation. By combining his journey of spiritual discovery along with his academic and social knowledge of western street culture, GBM1011 aims to fuse popular culture with themes of individual and collective liberation. The underlying ambitions which drive his music career forward are setting new youth culture trends which promote positive community building, reconnecting humanity with the planet and the universe, and most importantly, to remember and discover his wisdom, experience, and power!
