The Latin-American singer and songwriter Ashley Diaz was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. With Puerto Rican, and Guatemalan descent, growing up she listened to old-school salsa and bachata and she was influenced by some of the best Latin artists such as La India, Marc Anthony, Celia Cruz, and Selena. Her love and passion will continue to show in her music and hopes to one day bring back the authentic Latin sound to the modern pop music culture. Growing up, Ashley performed at the Cyclone Stadium, neighborhood parks, and local malls in Brooklyn New York. Her passion for music was shared with her neighborhood as she would perform late at night on her balcony in Brooklyn. Her parents and grandpa contributed a ton towards her passion for old school salsa, and Latino music that many don't get to experience today. To this day she continues to work on her music as that is her passion and a gift from God. She will continue to express her love for her culture in her music to the new generations to come. As of right now, Ashley is working on numerous singles and authentic Latin music to share with her community and supporters. She will continue to bring families together and celebrate life with her music. Ashley will continue to be a genuine Artist and a woman by whom young girls can be inspired by. The authentic Latin-American artist will continue to work on her path to sharing authentic latin music with her family of supporters.
