Nicole McLean, professionally known as just Nykole, is an upcoming Dancehall/Reggae female artiste from Waterhouse, Kingston Jamaica who was born on December 21, 2001. Nykole has always had a passion for music from a very young age between the ages 5 and 6 years old when she began singing in church and often took charge of devotions in school. During those days, By the age of 16, the determined singer decided to take music more seriously by recording her first single, “Just Understand” on March 14, 2020 at the Kingston Elite Studio and has already received major airplay by ZJ Dymond on Zip 103FM. Nykole has worked with several producers over the years, including Deligets Music, Marvoni Records, and Instrumedz Music. She isn’t tied to any one label but is more in cohorts with Alex “Dili” Butler of Deligets Music. Nykole would like to collaborate with artists like Popcaan, Quada, Shenseea, Koffee and plans to work with producers like Troyton, ZJ Dymond, ZJ Chrome, Rvssian, and anyone who is willing to work with her. She hopes to work with international record labels, sign endorsement deals and perform on the biggest stages sometime in the future so that she can make a better life for her family. Nykole has no plans to ever stop making music as she continues to hone her craft. Infusing lots of melody and harmonies into her music, Nykole is adamant that she will be the star she knows she is and become a popular household name worldwide.
