Combining the emotional depth of synth-pop from eras gone-by with a House edge born in the basement clubs of rural England, Siente seek inspiration from a wide range of sources to create rich and melodic dance music. A chance meeting over the decks at a friend’s house party saw lifelong musicians Nick and Steve bond over their shared love of 80’s post-Disco artists like Evelyn "Champagne" King and Luther Vandross, giving birth to Siente. Whilst their sun-soaked music has naturally drawn comparisons to the likes of Parisian beatmakers Alan Braxe, Phoenix and DJ Falcon, their deep basslines have ensured the UK scene has stood up to take notice. Having featured the track in his festival sets over the summer, legendary garage selector DJ EZ chose to end his KISS FM show with Siente’s remix of Tony Tokyo’s ‘Breathe’ over three consecutive weeks in 2014, a clear seal of approval from one of the masters of UK club music. Their talents can also be heard on remixes for artists as diverse as Just Kiddin, Natty and Kyan . 2018 saw the boys making their biggest waves yet with their first collaboration with Danglo, Feel So Alive. The track gained early support from Oliver Heldens and Just Kiddin and was included in both Spotify’s Hot New Dance and Apple Music’s ‘Breaking Dance’ playlists. Their DJ skills have seen Siente invited to play to thousands across Europe, sharing stages with acts such as Jamie Jones, Blonde, TCTS, Jay Pryor, Maxxi Soundsystem and Horse Meat Disco.
