Ushbah is an emerging South Asian-American singer-songwriter and indie pop artist, passionate about crafting introspective and empowering lyrics. With a background in STEM from Cornell University and a unique blend of cultural influences from her upbringing in New York and Lahore, she's exploring her creative voice. Recent works include "please don’t self medicate." and a collaboration with Zoha Zuberi, "Tere Hawalay". Ushbah's songwriting is a personal journey, driven by free-form creativity and a desire to share stories that resonate, particularly those promoting women empowerment. She's currently pursuing a Master's degree from Columbia University, honing her craft and exploring genres. Still finding her footing, Ushbah hopes to connect with others through her music and songwriting.
