Lydia Cole is an award-nominated songwriter and performer from New Zealand. After ten years spent writing, recording and touring in New Zealand and Australia, Lydia left her management, crowd-funded an album, and relocated to Europe to spread the quiet warmth of her music. From June 2017 until October 2019 she did just that, connecting with new audiences at concerts through Switzerland, Denmark, Spain, Belgium, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, France and the UK - with backing from multi-instrumentalist Timothy Armstrong. Inspired to the task of translating emotion into song, Lydia touches hearts by the purity in her voice, intimate lyrics, and flawless live performances. This ability has enabled her to support acts such as Ed Sheeran, José González, M. Ward, Diana Krall , The Paper Kites, Roo Panes, The Weather Station, Paul Kelly and others.
