Started by Eunsuk as a solo project that later became a band, the name Kisnue is one letter different from his name spelled backwards and it represents the interconnectedness between one’s artistic self and one’s regular self. Through meticulously constructed melodies and candid lyrics the band initially drew inspiration from 80s synth pop music. The first album ‘Last of Everything We Were’ was met with critical acclaim due to the band’s capability to be ‘stylishly 80s yet unique’. Now Kisnue has returned to its initial solo act and will soon release the second full-length album, bringing us a music that’s much more personal yet vividly ‘Kisnue’.
