Jayaire Woods is from Bellwood, Illinois (aka Woodside), outside of Chicago. His music is soulful and the themes of his songs are universal - hometowns, lost love, striving to grow as a person and artist, and finding beauty in everyday things. All four of his projects are cohesive, lush, and critically acclaimed by various industry publications. Lawrence Neil of Passion of The Weiss described Jayaire's style as, “representative of an unpretentiousness that’s deeply refreshing amongst hip-hop’s omnipresent flexing,“ and that his songwriting is, “deeply attuned to the sonic quality of words that makes a listening experience unconsciously delicious.” Jayaire is currently gearing up to release his fifth project, "Life is Grand" due January 2020.
