Dj Crown Prince, born Corie Weaver, has been a constant trendsetter and influence in music, style, and life. An international dj, music curator, artist, event planner/ promoter, creative visionary, mentor, and a co-founder of High Beams Dubai; he is always working on something. Corie was born on the Caribbean island of Antigua. He was raised in Brooklyn, New York, and Florida. He is guided by his love of sharing and learning of culture, music, arts, food. As he puts it, “I’m forever a student, and it’s my responsibility to share what I’ve learned with others. This is how we make sure our communities grow. Each one teach one.” Corie, started his career producing remixes for deejays, sound systems, and became somewhat of a legend with his Crown Prince riddim mixes on the file-sharing sites from the late 90’s and early 2000’s. He approaches music and other projects the same way he goes through life. “Trust your energy and protect it. Vibe first, everything else will fall in place.”
