Yikes Lee is a renaissance man. This is a title thrown around often, but it does not refer to one who simply does numerous things: it means to be a master of many crafts, which is just what he has done in only 27 years of life. Born in Detroit, Michigan, Yikes Lee was and still is classified as a church boy. Yikes Lee seems to have inherited most of his father's gifts, but he would later develop a few of his own. He drew praise throughout the 90's for his prodigious music talents, showcasing his skills as a child drummer at the Straight Gate International Church. Musical ability is apparently common in his family.  He moved to Middletown, Delaware and eventually poured his talent and energies into photography and film, in addition to resuming his role as church drummer. Yikes Lee would later become so knowledgeable that he taught classes at Temple and Delaware State on camera and film technology. He and his good friend and business partner “MALL THE DJ” eventually founded True A.R.T. Entertainment.    His connections in the music business have allowed him to work with a plethora of talented and decorated artists such as Thomas Clay, Jermaine Dupri Deetranada. His music can be described in many different terms and words. Yikes Music paints more then pictures more like portraits with words. His ability to tell stories and draw you in are 2nd to none.
