Dumaguete native, Bud T, is a rapper who has been around for over a decade. Whilst not a mainstream figure, his underground presence has been recognized by many locally. Furthering his reach, Bud T has broadened his horizons with his venture with SOBV . The once old-school purist has grown into a whole new artist - blending his old-school sensibilities with a modern, more melodic twist - tapping into hints of reggae, rnb, and classical OPM to create his new sound. Also a high school teacher, Bud T seeks to teach and empower the youth by endowing them with wisdom from his experiences and learnings. He speaks of violence, corruption, and other societal plights in the hopes of teaching the next generation to shy away from gang mentality, open their eyes to the broken system, and build a better future for themselves and the generations to follow.
