The Canada native's uncommon background and perspective allows for him to extract experiences from virtually all walks of life, incorporating both personal, relative, and even religious encounters within his writing. Spending his very early years in the rougher parts of Toronto, Ontario (though born in Winnipeg, MB), his passion for the art of Hip-Hop began at the age of 4. Keeping Eminem as a focal inspiration, Trip J included other artists such as Jay Z, Lil’ Wayne, Kanye West, and 50 Cent, who were held in high regard by the young rapper. More newly, he has embodied elements from Drake, Andy Mineo, J. Cole, Chris Brown, Frank Ocean, and other talents. Trip has released LP's “I Am Young” (2012), and, “The Address Book” (2013), with TAB receiving national recognition and radio play in various cities across Canada, and EP's such as "TH3RAPiii" and "TR3NDY". He has garnered attention from prominent Blogs, “The Daily Hip-Hop” and “This is 50”, appearing in an article on the latter, before releasing his 3rd EP, “Waves” in 2018. The Canadian is building huge momentum and a greater following that has piqued the interest of Celebrities such as “Gianluca Vacchi”, “Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike”, “Kelly Anthony”, "Dennis Rodman", "The Game", "Nessly", and many others.
