Hey, my name is Gerra. I'm a singer/songwriter from germany who's writing songs in both english and german. I was born in russia in the year of the millennium. After my parents and I moved to Germany, I coincidentally got in touch with music. In 2009, my parents watched the Eurovision Song Contest on TV and that year Alexander Rybak won the contest, singing and playing his violin. After I saw that performence I fell in love with the Violin and music itself. I started playing the violin and music became a more and more important part of my life. With 15 I discovered my voice and began to focus on singing and writing Songs. In 2016 I had the chance to collaborate with gold and platinum Songwriter and Producer Jan van der Toorn who is known for his work with artists like ‘NSync, Boyz II Men, Snoop Dogg, The Backstreet Boys, Michael Bublé and many more, on Songs for the TOGGO-Tour, a nationwide tour, created by the biggest kids/teen TV-Channel in Germany Super-RTL, on which I appeared as an artist. Now I'm working on a bunch of new self-written Songs. Like the man who made me fall in love with music, I try to include the Violin into my Songs and to combine elements of classical music with Pop, RnB and even Funk and Soul sounds.
