Dixi has always been musically involved since a very young age, being a dancer trained in various art forms such as Indian Classical (Bharatnatyam), ballet, tap, contemporary, and jazz from the age of 3 to being a piano player by ear from the age of 5. She learned how to sing through listening to Bollywood music and mimicking idols like Shreya Ghoshal & Lata Mangeshkar. In 2012 she opened for said idol Shreya Ghoshal as well as Sufi Queen Richa Sharma in 2019, which kickstarted her desire to pursue music further. Her covers were soon being recognized by top industry figures like Sonam Kapoor and Hariharan, & she has since launched original music with Merchant Records’ Salim-Sulaiman, Rishi Rich, Raxstar, Mumzy Stranger, & DJ Twinbeatz. You can hear her songs being played globally across the radio and streaming platforms.
