After almost 20 years of drumming in hardcore and metal bands and the decline in the Moscow heavy scene, Alexander Pugachev took the moniker DJ Spine and switched drumsticks and cymbals to a turntable and DJ mixer. His style of scratching is highly percussive and is rooted from metal music rhythm section.
