In the movie "Kabir Singh", directed by Mr. Sandeep Reddy Vanga starring Shahid Kapoor, Ashim had an acting cameo where he sang two verses of the folk song "Dil Naiyo Lagda Jatt Da", a full-fledged version of the same song was released later through “Dungi Entertainment”.
