Half British and half Lucian, YXL Trev is a rising star in the music business in the Caribbean. The artist was born in Tooting, South London, and raised in St. Lucia where he learnt music theory, violin and piano. These teachings, both cultures and his travels perpetually influence Trev in his way of thinking, living, breathing and creating. Travelling the world and making new connections have become an increasingly important aspect of Trev’s life over the years. He considers that sharing his music is one of the most intimate bonds he can create with people. Trev’s music embodies his emotions, stories, memories, ups, downs, success as well as his failures.
