Grupo Alamo is a 3-time Latin Grammy nominated Tejano band from San Antonio, TX. The group was founded in 1993 by accordionist Ernie Gonzales and guitarist Ernesto Gonzales. The band’s adoption of R&B and Jazz ideologies has branded them as pioneers of the Tejano industry. 
 Grupo Alamo’s potency has been recognized for three decades as their first prestigious nomination came in 1995 for Best Tejano Group at the Puro Vida Awards. The last three of their six studio efforts have been recognized by the Recording Academy in 2022, 2018, and 2014.
