Biography

Confusingly named after the Spanish word for eight, Vuit are in fact a trio whose boy band looks and polished pop/rock sound saw them rapidly become one of the Catalan music scene's most popular contemporary acts. Formed in 2009, lead vocalist/guitarist Carlos Martinez, bassist Llorenc Anguera, and drummer Oscar Villoria released their debut album, Un Dia Qualsevol, in 2010, but achieved their biggest success with the 2011 sophomore effort 15 Dies I una Nit, thanks to collaborations with actors Nil Cardoner and Mikel Iglesais (TV3 drama Polseres Vermelles) and Operación Triunfo coach Manu Guix. ~ Jon O'Brien, Rovi
