Thomas Rawle, who operates under the nom de plume DRELLER, is a London-based, Sydney-born artist, producer/multi-instrumentalist, animator, and filmmaker. He has a talent for crafting dark, beat-forward blasts of hook-laden alt-pop. After releasing his first new music in two years earlier in 2018 ('Shape of Love' and 'Dimensions'), Dreller returns with the Shape of Love EP. The seven track release features two more brand new songs; ‘I Feel Your Life’ which is the most electronic leaning track Dreller has written to date and sees him enter new territory sonically, while ‘Fade’ brings with it a sense of vulnerability that instantly hooks the listener. The EP also features three reworks of ‘Shape of Love’ – a stunning acoustic/live version, and two remixes. Dreller said of the EP, “The whole process of this EP has been me recording and scrapping material, as well as obsessively re-recording material, that is why there are three versions of Shape of Love (there are actually a lot more than just those three!). This EP for me is me getting the confidence to put music out in public again after a long time of recording and deleting. My favourite track on the whole EP is ‘Fade’, it's the most stripped back and I hope that I can make more work like this in the future”.
