Born in Iowa City Iowa, to a small family in the heart of the Midwest.. Sevauge began rapping at 11. Later ending up in a group called, “The Super Hero Squad" at 13 with his friends A.J & J.B. It wasn’t until much later the name "Sevauge" Came up. Without there being a real sound in the area aside from distinguished Chicago drill, Detroit uptempo inverted west coast sound and the dancehall emo pop sound from Toronto. Sevauge cultivated his Dark, moody, lyrical and melodic records brooding with jealousy, anger, sadness, guilt, lust and love spell out the brute of his discography along with mellow records and some high tempo high energy tracks to compliment the aesthetic. He attributes the eclecticism of his sound to artists such as, Chris Brown, Drake, Linkin Park, Michael Jackson to even 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, Nate Dogg, Pharrell, Russ And even, Toni Braxton.
