He first blew up when YouTube tastemaker SuicideSheep premiered his remix of Disclosure's "Help Me Lose My Mind", which has since garnered nearly 90 million views. He followed up with the collaborative EP Mazde X LissA, which earned accolades from THUMP, DUMMY, Clash and more. A versatile artist that derives inspiration from left and right, Mazde's official remix of RÜFÜS DU SOL "Say a Prayer for Me" showcased his penchant for future bass underlined with subdued percussive elements and mellow synth work, amassing a million streams on Soundcloud and Spotify. After achieving a HypeM #1 with his 2016 single "Neverland" featuring Rhode Island rapper Khary, Mazde finished the year on a strong note, releasing "Wicked Winds".
