SAPASHINI is a Ghanaian singer, songwriter and performer whose sound cuts across contemporary genres like Afrobeat, Afro-Pop, Afro-Dancehall and Afro-Fusion. The Awuuyii Nation Records artist is popularly known for his groovy style, catchy melodies and eloquent lyrics that infuses English, Pidgin English and his native language Mampruli and Dagomba His music is a blend of different music cultures from Ghana to Nigeria, From Burkina Faso to Togo and from Ivory Coast to Jamaica. He is inspired by artists like Fela Kuti, Don Carlos, Bob Marley and Burna Boy yet, his sound remains unique and dynamic. Apart from his outstanding collaborations with artists like Mula Gad, Maccasio, Abu Sadik and Zeegunu. The Gambaga born artist is also notable for being the Best Mamprugu Dancer 2010, Best Northern Music Male Video Of The Year 2019 and North East Region Artist Of The Year 2020. Sapashini has also performed at numerous stages which includes; Gadam Nation XSark Nation, Tamale Sports Stadium 2017, Atinka Tv Diasah Grand Finale 2018 (National theatre), Maccasio Show (Bukum Boxing Arena), Maccasio x Shatta Wale. He is a graduate of College Of Nursing And Midwifery Nalerigu but on discovering his talent as a musician, he began recording his songs in 2013 and now has two albums in his discography; Bafoya Album released in 2016 and Live Life Album released on January 25th 2021. Currently Sapashini has the largest fan base in the North East Region of Ghana.
