A third culture kid growing up in both the East and West, 20-year-old hyejin spent her formative years adapting to ever-changing environments, which cultivated her fixation towards the only thing that remained constant in her life: her love for writing. Inspired by the brutally honest, intimate songwriting of Amy Winehouse and SZA, hyejin combines her anti-romantic, slightly pessimistic lyricism with sticky-sweet melodies, embarking on an infectious blend of nostalgia with a dreamy twist.
