Eric Weissberg ("Dueling Banjo's" from the film DELIVERANCE) and David Bromberg are sidemen on Tom's 1971 RCA country/folk album PORCHLIGHT ON IN OREGON. His first appearance touting PORCHLIGHT... was in the Village in NYC on MacDougal Street at THE GASLIGHT CAFE. Appearing around the corner on Bleeker Street at THE BITTER END at the exact same time with his first album was John Prine . Since writing & recording PORCHLIGHT..., Tom has written or co-written, sung and recorded two indie CD's - STILL WATERS (A COLLECTION OF YEARS) & WATERSHED OF AN EARLIER HEART: SONGS OF THE OREGON TROUBADOR. On January 12, 2024 he released a mainly acoustic folk/country album of his songs - HOUSE AT THE END OF THE BLOCK - recorded in 2023 - (a few of the tunes are from the mid 70's-'80). A native of Oregon, Tom moved to New York City when he was 19 to study acting and sing in coffee houses. As an actor he has appeared On & Off-Broadway, in Regional theatre, Guest Starred in television, and Co-Starred in movies such as DANCES WITH WOLVES and AIR FORCE ONE.
