Born in Gonabad and had studied Graphic Design, She started learning Setar in 1988 and benefited from the teachings of Shahpour Hedayatifar, Mas’oud Sha’ari, Hamidreza Nourbakhsh, Hengameh Akhavan, Hossein Alizadeh and Mohammadreza Lotfi. She has performed in concerts with Mohammadreza Lotfi, and Hossein Alizadeh and also has had her solo performances. In 2014 her first album, “A Dialogue Without Words” was commissioned and published by music publication of the Kherad Art House as part of their “Intimate Sentiments” series. This album was nominated for the Best Solo Album in the Musicema Biennial in 2016. Later she founded the “Aan” ensemble together with several other Persian classical musicians and published her second album with them, named “Impatient of Separation”. This Album too, was nominated as the best Persian classical album in the 2018 Musicema biennial.
