Deejay Bluemoon is a Kenyan DJ, Record producer, Actor, Singer, Songwriter and playlist Curator based in London, United Kingdom. He is known for his albums Kengele Riddim, Bluebox Radio Active weekly podcast and His support of artists on Bluebox Radio. Born in 1986 he gained his early experience from the year 2009 where he met deejay Darddy who introduced him to the art . Deejay Bluemoon moved to London, United Kingdom later in 2014 where he founded the Bluebox Radio Active Ltd producing music, marketing and promoting old and upcoming artists through various avenues, including a radio station of which he founded in 2016 (Bluebox Radio Active). His first production was a joint production with Capital O Music and DancehallMSA from Kenya in 2016 , where he worked with IQ , Rhymie , Junior X all from Jamaica and Dyno Classics from Uganda on "Bluemoon Riddim". The buzz around Bluemoon Riddim led to his next in 2017 "Kengele Riddim" with Producer Teknixx and the single "THE ONE" ft Iadan and Melogirl working alongside producer Herbert Skills. It is in 2017 that Deejay Bluemoon released most of his work three EP's Kengele riddim, Uptown riddim, Ghetto Life Riddim and two singles which he released later the same year around September; "Lorna" ft Jay plus and "Lockdown " a joint collaboration with Evo Bliss Music ft Iadan and fancy lady.
