La BOA is a group established in Bogotá, Colombia, which has a number of musical styles and concepts derived from the African diaspora in the world. They’ve been recording since 2013 and from that moment have become a benchmark of avant-garde sounds settled in the Colombian capital. La BOA develops their music from nigerian afrobeat, rhythms from all over the caribbean and take it to a level that include ingredients of psychedelia, jazz, traditional Colombian sounds and a lot of funk with soulful lyrics.
