Swedish pop artist Fredrik Skoglund draws inspiration from Ed Sheeran’s boy-next-door lyricism. He writes love songs with charming simplicity, collaborating with local producers to create a pop sound that reminds you of Shawn Mendes and Justin Bieber. Skoglund debuted in 2016 with his single “Sense”, followed by “Complicated” (2017), “Only One (2018)”, and “Fall In Love with U” (2019). His early sound had certain electronic influences with hints of The Chainsmokers. For “Only One”, he collaborated with Swedish EDM producer Mattias Magnemyr to create a tropical house remix. His sound has evolved more and more into pop along the road. After a few singles, he was added to Spotify’s Editorial playlist “Från norr till söder”.
