As winners of Nexa Music Lab, she was mentored by A R Rahman and Clinton Cerejo and also released songs with both the maestros. Following that they released their music video for their single ‘Different Kind of Love’ which was written by them and composed by Clinton Cerejo and Bianca Gomes. Their song, ‘You Got Me’ with the legend himself, A R Rahman crossed 19 million views. They made their Gujarati film song debut with 2 songs from the movie ‘Halkee Fulkee’ and released a song with Mika Singh. In 2021, Simran sang the Hindi dub for one of the lead characters ‘Isabela’ in the Disney animated musical film ‘Encanto’. She has also sung in various commercials like the ‘Kiss Me’ song for Cadbury and also in the background score of films like Ludo, Kapoor and Sons, Baar Baar Dekho, etc. In 2023, she sang on the official anthem for Mahindra composed by the maestro A.R.Rahman on ‘Le Chalang’. She also worked with the legendary music composer trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy on ‘The Archies’ Netflix film.
