The GetGone bring influences from Rock, Punk, Post Hardcore and Grunge together to mould a dark, melodic, hook laden sound. The band started playing live shows in 2013, playing with Gnarwolves, Funeral For A Friend, Random Hand, Trigger Effect, Ocasan, Menshevik, Dissociates Petrol Girls & The Social Club The band have also received national radio play on Radio1’s Punk Show with Mike Davies. TheGetGone's first EP ‘Stories and Ruses’ is available in a limited self-released run through their Facebook page. And as of 25-02-14 available to download on iTunes.. In February Punktastic.com chose the EP as their stream of the week, commenting that; “there’s plenty of woahs and riffs so it’s thumbs up from us!” The five track EP was recorded and produced by Capdown's Keith Minter (www.AC1Studios.com) and artwork by Cardiff’s Philip Morgan (www.facebook.com/philmorganillustration ) The GetGone released their first full length in 2015 alongside some videos and content. In 2018 The GetGone released the “Tomorrow” EP. During the lockdown period of 2020, an album of Acoustic renditions and unreleased tracks were released.
