King Daughn BIO Darnell Daniel Canty., known Professionally as “King Daughn”, is an American rapper, songwriter, producer, and entrepreneur. Born in Philadelphia PA, but raised in Savannah GA, KD grew up in a poverty stricken neighborhood with his mother and two younger siblings. Growing up on the 33rd & MLK block, KD experienced so many life changing events at a very young age. With the aspiration of being a hip hop artist he began to write at the tender age of 11. His main inspiration were Camoflauge and Tupac. At the of 15 KD and his family relocated back to Philly PA, where he would spend the rest of his childhood. Years after relocating KD lost one of his sibling to the harsh Philly streets, which made him very closed in and more focused on perfecting his craft. True Hip Hop Lovers are drawn to his crazy word play, delivery, and uniqueness of every project he creates. Racking up the years as a up and coming artist KD released his first Mixtape in 2015 Called “Testers”. A couple years later he became founder & CEO of his own independent record label named DANGEROUS MYNDZ INC.
