Biography

Giuseppe Zanca graduated from the Conservatory in trumpet and jazz music and he has always been dedicated musical arrangements. At the same time he began studying electric bass at age 17 with which he started his professional career with various groups. He participated in courses at Umbria Jazz, Siena Jazz, Vienna, New York, etc. . In the 80's he made recordings in the field of light music with Pierangelo Bertoli, Loredana Berte, Aida Cooper, Fred Bongusto, Rocky Roberts, Umberto Bindi, Vladi Tosetto, Manuela Villa, Raoul Casadei, Tanita Tikaram and others. In 1990 he moved to the United States for studies and professional experience . Since 1992, he owns and operates a professional recording studio in Italy, working with various editors, such as Ariston, Fabbri, Universal, Hobby & Work, Caligula, RCA, CGD and RTI- Mediaset. Composer of over 100 songs for television themes, documentaries, films and background music for advertising (RTI Mediaset and RAI trade). In 2002 and 2003 he conducted the festival "Mara & Meo" in Switzerland for the national network IST . In 2007 he produced a group "Khorakhanè" with whom he also directed in the 57th Annual Sanremo Festival of Song. In recent years, he has played live music as leader trumpet and arranger of covers and his own songs in a quartet of his name. Check out is album "Sympho Jazz"!
