Born and raised in Southern California, Spotted Toad was impressed upon by LA culture growing up. Although many of the bands that dominated the LA scene throughout the youth of Spotted Toad were of the rock, punk, and surf rock genre. Spotted Toad gravitated towards producing electronic music with ambient and unpredictable tones. The artists name is Inspired by the Mojave Desert biome of Southern California and a native toad that resides there. The now 26 year old, is based out of Brooklyn, New York where a thriving electronic scene has been established within recent years. Having run music studios for the last 4 years in Brooklyn, Spotted Toad brings a knowledge of many realms of music.
