Biography

Immanu El is a Swedish post-rock band that was formed in 2004. The band is known for their unique interpretation of the post-rock genre, and their music is characterized by atmospheric soundscapes, emotional depth, and captivating vocals. With reverb-drenched guitars, dynamic shifts, and captivating vocals, they create compositions that evoke feelings of hopefulness, longing, and reflection. Over the years, they have released several critically acclaimed albums, including "They'll Come, They Come" (2007), "Hibernation" (2016), and "Structures" (2019). The band began as a musical experiment during high school, founded by Claes Reimertz (formerly Strängberg) in a converted barn just outside Jönköping. Soon, his twin brother Per joined along with friends David Lillberg and Jonatan Josefsson. Since their debut album, they have played over 300 concerts in 30 different countries and have established themselves as one of the most prominent bands from Scandinavia in their genre. patreon.com/immanuelband
