Eugene Ameyaw Boafo is a UK based Ghanaian rapper/singer/songwriter from koforidua, the capital of Eastern Region, and a city famous for it’s beautiful girls that earned it the name Koforidua flowers. His music draws from a range of music genres, including afrobeats, high life, hip pop, and hip life. Ameyaw, as he’s affectionately called by friends and family, grew up in the Srodae area and was raised single handedly by his mother, Miss Monica Marfo, a trader. Ameyaw attended Universal School and Ghateco for his primary and junior secondary education and completed his senior secondary education at Sectec. He got into music at age 10, forming a group called Real Adehyi3 with 3 other young musicians Paapa, Rocky T, Davina, and Kabacha, the latter Ameyaw’s stage name. The group made their name and became the best rap group in the Eastern Region in the mid 90’s.Ameyaw relocated to Accra to further pursue his music career.
