Str8jaket is an American hip hop artist/producer from Flint, Michigan, known for his rap/rock influenced music and his production in the underground horrcore scene. Str8jaket began his music career in 1999 with local Flint, Michigan friends and fellow artists Worm, Mr.5 O'clock and Craze, but it wasn't until 2004 that he released his first solo album Killaz Reality Since then, he has released 3 full-length studio albums, 3 extended plays, 3 group albums, Click Clack, All Hallows Eve and Off-Course Hooliganz, and numerous singles. Str8jaket was hired by Psychopathic Records in 2016 as head engineer and remained with the label until late 2020. Shortly after his departure from Psychopathic, Str8jaket and long time friend, James Skinner aka Jim Job, opened their own recording studio Hypnotic Sound Studios in Lansing, Michigan. Str8jaket is set to release his first full length album in 6 years in late 2022 and Hypnotic Sound Studios continues to grow! As of August 2022 Str8jaket has signed with Monstar Ent. with long time friend and CEO Lyte and label mate Skitzo!
