Loatile Mangadi, commonly known as Loatinover Pounds is an artist and producer born and bred in Pretoria South Africa - where his inspiration and vernacular in his lyricism is heavily derived from. His ability to not only produce and write music but to conceptualise creative ideas for song covers and visuals has made him a well rounded artist in his field. In 2022 he won “Artist on the Rise” a talent show curated by Homecoming events, that earned him a spot on the main stage of the event where he debuted his remix with 25K , winning the hearts and ears of many South Africans. Sosh Plata - Remix went on to reach over 5 million streams on Spotify, over 5 million views on YouTube and over 2 million streams on Apple Music. The song went on to being number 1 on Metro FM for two weeks straight and number 1 on Motsweding FM along with other radio stations across the country. The following year Pounds went on to grace some of the country’s biggest stages such as Cotton Fest, Metro awards & South African Music Awards . In 2023 he collaborated with Redbat to create an album in celebration of 20 years of the brand, Flying Fish for their Dry Apple campaign along & with Levi’s for their 150 years of 501 campaign. He appears on BET’s 2023 hip hop cypher He recently released his first single since the Sosh Plata Remix titled 4am featuring Blxckie and is set to release his debut album before the end of 2024.
