Sherry Finzer began her career as a classical flutist and over the years experimented with several genres, including Latin jazz, Flamenco, Pop and World Music. In 2009 she found her home in the New Age genre, creating music to help bring people to a state where they can begin to heal mentally & physically with her music. Fueled by stories shared by listeners and fans dealing with stress, depression, ailments such as tinnitus, stroke, and cancer, she records, performs, and oversees Heart Dance Records – a woman-owned/run label consisting of instrumental artists with a focus on creating music to be used for healing modalities. Sherry specializes in the low flutes - alto, bass, and contrabass, as well as Native flutes.
