Biography

Unmistakable for her engaging and captivating performances, Cleo Panther is known as the former lead vocalist and long-time collaborator of Austrian Electro Swing Producer Parov Stelar. Panther was discovered by Stelar in 2010 and was asked to top line the song “Nobody's fool”, which later became one of the singles in the acclaimed album The Princess. Shortly after, she joined the band as their lead singer on tour. In 2013 and 2014, Parov Stelar and the band were awarded the Amadeus Austrian Music Awards for BEST LIVE ACT. Between 2011 and 2016 Panther top-lined over 29 Songs for Parov Stelar’s Live Shows, including “Cat Groove”, “Josephine (1930 Version)”, “Speed Demon”, “The Invisible Girl”, “I need love”, “Mojo Radio Gang” and “All night” which were released on the live album/DVD Live at Pukkelpop in 2016. On their first West Coast tour they made an impactful live appearance which led to a mention of “The 20 best things we saw at Coachella 2016’s weekend two” in the Rolling Stone online magazine. Coachella founder Paul Tollett proudly pointed out three women-led acts, and Cleo Panther was mentioned as one of them. Through 2017 and 2018 Panther continued staring as Parov Stelar’s Lead Singer across Europe, Asia, and the US and co-headlined at the Sziget festival with Rihanna and Lana del Rey. In 2019 she decided to leave the band to take a break to work on her Solo Debut EP REFLECTIONS OF PARADISE. The first single 'Not afraid to lose' was released in Feb 2024.
