Myndset is an emerging independent artist from Barrie, Ontario. The Canadian rapper, singer and songwriter has been making a name for himself in the world of Hip-hop since the release of his debut album “Pedestrian Funk” in 2016. Through the course of a dozen Boom bap and breakbeat grooves, that record introduced a talented young writer, singer and emcee. The album quickly found fans online and in the Ontario scene. Since the album’s release Myndset has been writing, recording and performing. He’s played some high-profile gigs with Hip-hop legends including Raekwon of the Wu-Tang Clan and BlackSheep. And he’s been making music, releasing a follow up album entitled ‘Cloudshapes & Heartbreaks’ along with a mixtape and consistent singles in that time. 2023 saw more consistent releases and music videos on YouTube. Myndset teamed up with Canadian artists Adam Walsh and established producer alja. Creating a collaboration album ‘Overlooked’ to close out the productive year. 2024 has already seen a flurry of new releases and music videos from the dynamic team of Myndset and alja with a new full length album coming later this year.
