Shilpa, is a singer-songwriter in Los Angeles— melding R&B and Indian Music. Shilpa started singing Indian classical music at the age of 3 and has given concerts in both India and America, however growing up listening to legends like Christina Aguilera and Aretha Franklin she realized her passion and love for songwriting and the malleable realm of Rnb/pop music. During the pandemic she created viral R&B and Bollywood mash ups that have amassed millions of views globally. She hopes to bring this cross-over into her original music. Shilpa aims to uplift Asian American representation in pop music, and wants to give a voice to the amazing creativity imbedded in this cultural generation.
