B-Va is really William "Beaver" Bausch. He drums, he writes, he produces, mixes, etc. Sometimes he sings, but honestly, that's what computers are for. He made music in NYC for almost 30 years, mostly jazz and Cuban-infested stuff. Now he writes kids' music (for his kid), wives' music (for his wife), and whatever he comes up with his writing partner, Lamont O'Neil, which tends to be funky and soulful. Sometimes he's still jazzy and Cuban-infested. He sometimes works in Clave y Viento with super-flautist Kaori Fuji, and with Grupo los Santos (now Santos). Also, he taught in NYC schools for a long time and met a tonne of super-cool kids. He is stupidly lucky.
