Biography

Byron Adams (b. 1955) is a composer and musicologist. His essays have appeared in journals such asThe Musical Quarterly and Music & Letters. He edited Edward Elgar and His World (Princeton, 2007) and co-edited Vaughan Williams and His World (2023). Adams’s music has been performed at the 26th “Warsaw Autumn” International Festival of Contemporary Music and by The Philharmonia Orchestra. His publishers include E.C. Schirmer and Editions BIM.
