Mikigai is a Miami based, self taught artist and musician. Mikigai explores many musical genres and aims to connect with his followers thru writing about relatable topics. Music and art in general are healing outlets for him and modalities that allow him and others to attain a state of flow. Mikigai's artist name is derived from the Japanese philosophy called ikigai mixed with his first name of Mike. His music career officially began with his release of his debut album, Stages, in early 2022, which followed his personal journey thru the stages of love. Later that year he released a live sound healing meditation album called "SoundEscape Meditation" that his followers use to enhance their meditation practices, relaxation, and sleep. Mikigai runs a non for profit community center named Flow State Studios where he offers donation based art/wellness classes along with a full blown music recording studio where most of his music is recorded.
