NiiQuaye is a record producer, Multi- instrumentalist, music director, and the CEO of the band the “Musical Lunatics” from Ghana. Intuitively, music is all NiiQuaye ever wanted to do growing up and this fascination for music developed when he first touched the drums in church. He assembled the drums and started playing them without any training whatsoever. He writes and reads music, plays the electronic keyboard (piano), guitar/bass, and percussion instruments, flute, drum set, xylophone and uses his vocal instrument. NiiQuaye is a Capricorn and no wonder he has insane passion for music; so much passion one could describe him a ‘music lunatic.’ In 2012, NiiQuaye put together a body of young talented musicians called the Musical Lunatics. NiiQuaye's musical exposure started in Atomic junction-Madina, a suburb of Accra, and moved on to the Achimota School, where he got formal music education from and completed in 2006. He attained a diploma in General Music in 2010 and a Bachelor Fine Arts (BFA) from the School of Performing Arts in the University of Ghana in 2014. He has performed for both A-list artists and alternative budding artists.He has performed with King Promise,KiDi, Joey B, MzVee, Sena Dagadu, A.I, Adina etc. He has also sprinkled his guitar magic on a couple of hits in Ghana; Joey B’s -UxMe, Darko Vibes- Tomorrow, Double Trouble by Vision DJ, Sarkodie’s - Overdose amongst others. He has produced for Cina soul, Co-produced for a whole lot of artists.
