A graduate of the Athens Conservatory of Music with degrees in classical guitar and composition, Spiros Exaras is an internationally acclaimed musician, regarded as a master of fusing musical cultures. In his native Greece, Spiros has been a featured guitarist with the Greek National Radio Television Orchestra (ERT), the Orchestra of Colors, Kamerata Symphony Orchestra, as well as working with such acclaimed composers and singers as Yannis Markopoulos, Mario Frangoulis, Alkistis Protopsalti, Elias Andriopoulos, Petros Gaitanos, Kostas Hatzis, Evanthia Reboutsika, Antonis Kaloyannis, Ellie Paspala and Kostas Karalis. Internationally, Spiros has played with such artists as Shirley Bassey, Randy Brecker, Gerardo Velez, Mark Murphy, Tessa Souter, Arturo O'farrill and Dave Valentin, among others. Exaras also played the searing guitar solo on Mariah Carey's platinum hit "My All". He has released 12 albums and 4 singles while he has produced over 20 albums of other artists. His film and theatre scoring includes "Everything for a reason", "Niko's Restaurant", "Gallathea", "Just Cause" and "The Hand and Hen", in addition to numerous commercials. www.spirosexaras.com
