Full Flava is the creation of UK producer Rob Derbyshire, who began his career as musical director and keyboard player for Motown artist Edwin Starr and has since worked with many leading British pop bands. The project, which debuted in 2001, features the cream of UK and US female soul vocalists including Carleen Anderson, Ce Ce Peniston, Chantay Savage, Ruby Turner, Beverlei Brown, Donna Gardier, Kelli Sae and many more. As well as revisiting the disco era, the band have also recorded many original songs, the most popular of which have been "Make It Right", "Stories" and "Too Much Too Late". Remixes by Incognito, Sunlight Square, Rob Hardt of Cool Million, Nigel Lowis and others have attracted new followers.
