Bronx rapper Charlie Wayy is here for the long haul as an artist who is driven by respect and has a knack for making timeless music. 
 Hailing from the 1200s section of the Webster Houses, the inspiration for his lyrics comes from real life situations that he’s either personally lived through, or has witnessed with his own eyes. This type of authenticity and depth gives his music a strong replay value; you’re either going to run the song back because you felt the lyrics, or because you didn’t catch one of his many double entendres the first listen through. 
 When asked what’s most important to him in the music game, he’ll tell you in one word: respect. Wayy is driven by respect; the respect from his peers, respect from his fans and supporters, and respect from the industry.  
 True to the foundation of hip hop, the opportunity to express himself is what made him start rapping –his skill level made him start taking it seriously. Wayy has been around music for over a decade, but didn’t start pursuing it professionally until about six years ago. Since then he has not only become a highly skilled recording artist and performer, but also learned how to record and engineer his own sessions making sure that no matter the circumstances he can still create whenever inspired to.
